Don't Wait for a
Violation — Stay
Ahead of the Code

Florida fire codes require commercial kitchen hoods to be cleaned and inspected on a regular schedule. Failure to comply can result in fines, failed inspections, and forced closure.

Required by Law
High-volume commercial kitchens must be cleaned every 90 days (3 months) under NFPA 96 and Florida Fire Safety standards. Fire inspectors in Miami-Dade are actively enforcing compliance.

Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything restaurant owners ask us before getting started — answered clearly and honestly.

1
How often does a commercial kitchen hood need to be cleaned?
Most commercial kitchens require cleaning every 3 to 6 months depending on cooking volume. Florida law requires cleaning every 90 days for high-volume kitchens. Eagle Hood provides same-day documentation after every service.
2
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Eagle Hood Services carries full general liability insurance and all required documentation. A Certificate of Insurance (COI) is available on request.
3
Do you provide a compliance report after each service?
Absolutely. Every service includes a same-day compliance report with before-and-after photos, scope of work, date, and your recommended next service date — so you're always ready for inspectors.
4
Can you clean after hours or on weekends?
Yes. We offer flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends to minimize disruption to your kitchen operations. After-hours service is available as an add-on.
5
What areas do you serve?
We serve Miami and surrounding South Florida areas: Hialeah, Medley, Doral, Miami Gardens, Coral Gables, Miami Beach, Kendall, Homestead, and more — across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach County.
6
What is the difference between hood cleaning and filter cleaning?
Hood cleaning covers the full exhaust system — canopy, plenum, ductwork, and exhaust fan. Filter cleaning handles the removable grease filters only. Eagle Hood handles the full system. For filter maintenance, our partner Eco Filters provides specialized filter services.
7
